WRD Autocollimator
An autocollimator
is an optical instrment that can visually make
measurements of angular position. This is done
by projecting an image onto a target mirror and
measuring the deflection of the returned image.
Features:
- Measures angle of reflective
or partially reflecting surfaces
- Measures radius of curvature
(with close-up lens)
- Measures angles within 1 microradian
using video camera and PixelScope
software
- Can be used with eye piece or video
camera
- Combines a collimator and
video telescope in a single instrument
- Converts to an autocollimating
microscope with close-up lens
