Light Sources

Light Sources
We offer F8 light sources for use with our collimators, as well as back-lit reticles for finite-conjugate testing. Both can be configured for either an LED or fiber-bundle source and use either a light diffuser or integrating sphere. Our translucent light diffuser creates good uniformity, while the integrating sphere provides uniformity of better than 1% global variation.

Telescopes

Telescopes
We offer a range of telescopes with focal lengths from 35 mm to 900 mm and clear apertures from 15 mm to 100 mm. Telescopes come with our high-resolution video cameras attached and include a removable microscope attachment and optional close-up lens for alignment. Telescope lenses are diffraction-limited to 1/10 wave.

Collimator

Collimator
Our collimators use the same high-quality lenses as our telescopes, with wavefront aberration of less than 1/10 wave. Each collimator includes a lens inspection sheet detailing wavefront quality. Our collimators range in size from 35 mm to 900 mm EFL, allowing use in a wide variety of applications, from cell phones to rifle scopes. All collimators feature dovetails for easy mount and interfacing.

Autocollimator

Autocollimator
The autocollimator models use our collimator / telescope tubes configured with a beamspliiter to provide a video autocollimator with accuracy better than 1 uRad. We offer two models, one which features a tip/tilt stage for accurate positioning out of the box, and another which contains a mounting plate for use with custom fixtures.

Linear Stages

Linear Stages
We offer a wide variety of stages to meet diverse customer requirements. For manual stages, our spring pusher stage uses a simple dovetail and fine pitched screw – an inexpensive and effective solution to achieve linear motion repeatable to 1/10 micron. A rack and pinion stage allows for rapid adjustment across axis, while a crossed roller stage provides a high level of precision for the focus axis. Our stages can be equipped with digital micrometers, which allow them to interface with our software. In addition, we offer automated linear stages with 1 um precision.

Rotary Stages

Rotary Stages
To evaluate lens performance at particular field angles, our line of rotary stages includes a manual stage with +/- 90 degrees of travel that can hold collimators and telescopes up to 400 mm EFL with CA up to 50 mm. Our motorized rotary stage has the same capabilities, but allows for faster transfer and interfacing with our software. For testing objectives with large apertures, we offer a rotary stage for our 80 mm and 100 mm CA collimators. This stage, currently only available as a manual setup, allows +/- 10 degrees of motion.

Tilt Stages

Tilt Stages
Our tilt stages provide precise alignment of the optical axis. They use fine pitch pusher screws, providing angular resolutions better than 1 uRad, and have +/- 1 degree of motion. They are fitted with dovetail mounts for easy integration with the rest of our product line, part of a series of stages that provide extensive flexibility.

Clamps and Rails

Clamps and Rails
We use an extruded aluminum dovetail in our optical rails to provide a powerful balance of cost-efficiency, rigidity, and precision alignment. We offer custom spring-loaded clamps, which let setups easily move along a rail and lock into position.
